How To View Previous Words Of The Day, On The iOS App?

We’ve made it easy to see recent Words of the Day, on our app!

Open your Dictionary.com app, and see today’s Word of the Day listed on the homepage.

To see the Words of the Day, from the past week:

1. Simply scroll through, on today’s Word of the Day. You can scroll side to side, and see the past week's Words of the Day.
2. If you’d like more information on a given word, simply tap on a given Word of the Day to see its full definition.

When on a given Word of the Day entry, you can also swipe left or right, to see the previous day's or next day's word (when applicable).

To see Words of the Day, from the past month:

1. See today’s Word of the Day listed on the homepage, and tap “View All.”
2. You’ll be taken to a page where you can view the Words of the Day, from the past month.
3. From that list, tap on a given Word of the Day to see its full definition, pronunciation, example sentences, origin, and more.

Note: We don’t list Words of the Day, beyond the most recent from the past month.
