App Purchases & Upgrades: Do App Purchases Apply to the Dictionary.com or Thesaurus.com Websites?

App purchases do not apply to the Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com Websites.

App purchases won't change your website experiences. App purchases, and in-app purchases, are made solely through the App Store or Play Store. These purchases are tied to your App or Play Store account, not a Dictionary.com user account. They only work and apply to the *specific* app you purchased- they don't apply across multiple Dictionary.com apps, nor our websites. 

As an example, if you purchased an ad-free experience in one of our mobile Apps, you'd still always see ads on our websites.
