Can I Purchase The iPhone App And Use It On Both My iPhone And iPad?

Dictionary.com has two separate sets of apps one set which was previously just for iPhone (but in spring of 2022 our team released an update to allow this set of apps to function on iPad screen widths) and another older set which was just for iPads.

These apps are two separate sets of apps, each optimized for the specific set of devices they are made for. Because they are entirely separate apps, purchases of an app or any in-app purchases made in these apps, or other items like your Favorites list, will not transfer between the iPhone or iPad.

You can, however, download the iPhone app (Free or Pro) onto your iPad device and use it there, if you like. In Spring of 2022, our app team released an update to the iOS app which enables it to now support iPad screen widths.
